Who is Natalie Zimmermann?

Natalie is a qualified physiotherapist, personal trainer, health coach, mental trainer and has been active in martial arts for over 20 years. First in taekwondo for 10 years, then very successfully in kickboxing in the German national team before making her professional boxing debut in 2020. There she became world champion in 2023. Alongside her sporting career, Natalie shares her knowledge of success and her story in exciting talks on motivation, strategy and the power of a positive mindset.

As a coach in particular, Natalie helps people not only to stay physically fit, but also to work holistically on recognising their strengths and activating their own energy in order to achieve their goals. Ultimately, everyone can lead a fulfilled, self-determined and happy life if they find the right strategy and the right tools.

Natalie also trained German rock star Udo Lindenberg for 6 years, who swears by her expertise to get fit for performances and still approaches her today when a big tour is coming up. The two have become good friends.

MOVEMENT. HEALTH. NATURE.

Natalie Zimmermann – her impressive success story

Exercise, health, nature and plenty of fresh air have always been Natalie's focus. No wonder, because the shepherd's daughter from North Germany grew up with 4 sisters on a farm near the city of Kiel. There you learn one thing above all else: to work hard and get things done.

Looking after 1000 sheep and often running after them was hard work - in hindsight, the best athletics training ever. Natalie comes from a down-to-earth background, a strong foundation on which she has built her sporting career consistently and purposefully.

She initially trained as a physiotherapist. It was during this time that she discovered martial arts as her true sporting passion. She first started with taekwondo, then switched to kickboxing 10 years later. To further her sporting career, she moved to Hamburg, where she now runs her own physiotherapy practice and personal training studio.

As a kickboxer, she won three German championship titles. She competed in many World Cups with the German national team. In 2019, she was runner-up in the world championship. In the same year, she decided to go one better and become a professional boxer. At the age of 37, she made the attempt to ascend to the Olympics of boxing - a rather unusual and late moment in high-performance sports.

With discipline, perseverance and an absolute focus on her goal, Natalie made it to the top in just three years. She won the WIBF super lightweight world title in 2023, which she hopes to defend this year. Her impressive career shows that dreams can become reality if you firmly believe in yourself and are prepared to realise them with all your passion and power.

“If you can dream it — you can do it.”
